The Audacity of Hope

Its been a long day! I stayed up till 11:30 last night.. just long enough to be ABSOLUTELY POSITIVELY sure Obama won. All the news stations were already declaring he was the winner even before the votes were counted! But after McCain conceded gracefully (admire him for that), I went to sleep happy. :)

It's not just one up for Blacks, but one up for all the minorities, myself included. Whether or not he will be able to deliver is to be seen, but at least there is HOPE.

And Indiana turned blue!!!!!!!! Whoppee doo dah! :)))))))

Went to Chumley's for dinner, which was right next to the Republican headquarters. There were all these returned yard signs in front of it, so Dianamari decided to steal a McCain-Palin one. Then of course we HAD to get an Obama one, so we drove to the Democratic headquarters on the next street but they didn't have any! (Or maybe other people got to them before we did). But then I saw some on my way home so I parked by the side of the street, checked to see no one was looking, then grabbed two of them and ran back to my car and drove home. And its now hanging by my window! :))))) I need a souvenir for this historic moment right??
